More Primas!

Some friends and I had a small crop yesterday, and I kept on working with my wonderful Primas. I really, really love these papers and the flowers too, of course.
The first one is made with papers from the Pastiche collection, and on the photo is Agnes playing with the doll's tablewear she got for Christmas.
The second one is made with papers from the Shabby Chic collection, and the photo is of really crappy quality, but oh so precious. She was sitting at the dinner table one day and said: Mommy, look! I'm making a heart! And then she held her little hands just like this.

At the crop, I also made an extremely funny layout about an extremely funny little girl I know, but I can't show you that one just yet.
Have a great Saturday, all of you :)

Today is a good day to get the kits at My Scrapbook Nook.

I keep creating from the February kit. It's perfect for cards, with all the little elements it contains that are just perfect! Just add some cardstock, and you're ready to go.
Two more layouts have made themselves too ;). The colors are perfect for summer photos...
...as well as spring photos.
So, why is it a good day to get the kits today, then? Well, there are only a few of them left now, aaaand...
We will be offering them to our new members FREE with a 1 year membership!

It is as simple as 1-2-3.!
Go to the kit page and select your membership level, then go to the add-on page and you will find the March kit free for those that sign up for a year. You will also receive another free kit after a year!
That is right, the 13th kit is also FREE!
Add your free kit and off you go to the check out page!
Just think about it. All these goodies could be yours...
So, how about it?

My Sweetie ♥

I got some brand new Primas in the mail yesterday, and I had to get started on those right away. The Shabby Chic papers are fantastic, and they were perfect for this winter photo of my little girlie.
Just look at this swirl with those cute little clay roses! Adorable!
And the Madrigal Blossoms are to die for! Like this one ♥.
And check out that cute little pebble with the deer in the middle of the polka dot flower.
I often use flowers on my layout, but mostly not this much! Anyway, I love how it turned out!

This is why I love Basic Grey!

1. The patterns in a collection are many, matching and gorgeous.
2. The embellishments that go with a collection are many, and in many different styles.
3. There is always more than one type of coordinating alphas.
4. They come up with new stuff all the time.
5. They aren't afraid of combining colors that you normally wouldn't think of combining yourself...
And I had almost forgot how much I actually love Basic Grey! Until I got the February kit from the Nook, that is. I ripped it open and got lost in this yellow-green-brown-black whimsical hodgepodge. The thing is, all the pieces of every one of these layous fell together by themselves. I just leaned back and enjoyed the ride. Yes, I really do love Basic Grey :)

An airplane full of gentlemen

I will continue today with my Graphic 45 adventures. I had a really great time playing with A Proper Gentleman ;) this weekend, and this is one of the things I made. I have had the idea of making an airplane like this for a couple of years, and I even started making one, but never finished it up. But this time I went all the way, and here's how it turned out. There is a little Indiana Jones feeling here, don't you think?
The plane is hanging from the roof in Albins room, and for once he actually said WOW when I came with it. Most of the time he just goes: "mm, OK, mum, nice, thanks" when I fill his room with things made from paper, but this time he was really really happy. And that makes me want to make more planes for him :) He's got a big ceiling so there's plenty of room for them.
I had to use this little diecut clock from the tags sheet that comes with the paper collection in the center of the propeller. Isn't it cute?
All the material is from Scraplagret.
Thanks for stopping by!

Who loves Graphic 45?

I do, of course. And Emma at Scraplagret, she knows how much I love Graphic 45. So I got A Proper Gentleman papers in my last DT kit from her. That couldn't have been better. I have been creating like crazy with these papers, and here is the one thing I can show you today - a layout with my little handsome man.

Persistence really does pay off!!!

Yesterday evening, I got a phonecall. It was THE phonecall, the one I knew 25 people all over the world were waiting for. And I was one of the 7 lucky people who got it! It was Leah who called to let me know that I got a spot on the designteam at My Scrapbook Nook! And she is just as sweet in person as she is online. It was so fun chatting with you, Leah!

Those of you who read my blog every now and then probably know that I LOVE the Nook kits, and that I LOVE the Nook messageboard and all the wonderful people that are on it. So this is HUGE for me. I have been applying at least 4 times now, and finally, it was my turn to get on. So persistence really pays off.

I feel so lucky right now, to be a part of the amazing design team Leah put together, and I very much look forward to working with all of these amazingly talented ladies:

Amy Coose
Becky Williams
Camilla Ekman
Celeste Smith
Lady Grace Belarmino
Leah Killian
Lori Mancini
Nicole Martel
Stacey Michaud
Susan Lui
Tanya Tahir
Trish Harwick
Zarah S Peterson

I'm going to end this post with showing you a layout made with the January kit from the Nook, with photos of my gorgeous daughter from a photoshoot we did last summer. Even that I love the winter that is right now, and all the snow, I can't help longing for summer, when the light is perfect for taking these kinds of photos.

Psst...

Have you seen that Scraplagret looks completely different? The store has got a makeover, and to celebrate there will be challenges and lotteries taking place this week. So, it just might pay off to hop over and check it out.
Take care
